Oh, my! Only 3 weeks 'til we leave for our special 5th grade field trip in Yarmouthport!
It's time to start gathering together all the necessities for our week away at Nature's Classroom.
We will have extra copies of the packing list available in school for anyone who needs one, but some key points to note:
NO ELECTRONICS of any kind are allowed, including cell phones, ipods, and CD players.
Digital cameras ARE allowed. Please label them with your child's name, including disposable cameras. (Each year we find cameras with no names and it's sometimes hard to match them with owners if several look alike and have no names!)
Please DO NOT SEND SNACKS of any kind. The children get PLENTY to eat!!!Chaperones will confiscate them as soon as we get there to avoid inviting creatures to visit our cabins!
Raingear is essential and extra plastic bags to wear inside of boots are helpful, too.
Please label your child's belongings with his/her name. You'd be amazed at how many items are "found" and "unclaimed" after our week away.
